The Diary Game: How And Why I Went To Church Without My Family(19/04/2026)

Hubby wake me up early this morning to ask me if we’ll be going to church, I answered yes that we will but he said he’s tired from the previous day work stress, he said he needs rest and I said it’s fine that I’ll go with my son. My daughter already said she wants to stay back and fix her room and rest. I bath my son and dress him up for church. Thereafter I go fix something light that we can both eat and get going. I prepare tea and ate bread. I boil egg for my son and give him tea. As soon as we finish eating, I go back to the room to get my bag and carry my son. Hubby say i should go alone and leave him to stay at home as he’s home and her sister is home as well.

Immediately hubby said that I should go without my son, I had to sneak out because if he sees me going out without him when he’s already dressed he’ll cry out is eyes down. I use the kitchen door as exit instead of the front door in other for him not to see me. I heard him cry when I got to the main gate outside because he already knows that I’m no longer in the house. I trek down the Main Street of our community before I get bike. I eventually got one after trekking down the street for almost an hour. I just thank God that my baby didn’t go with me because how will I cope with him trekking that far before I got bike.

The women anniversary cloth our group in church chose for women anniversary

I got to church in the middle of the sermon and I heard the topic of the sermon is, Thought of the heart, human trust and faith. The general overseer explains thought of the heart as our paths to become great in life. He says when you think about something either good or bad, he says it’s that thing that will influence you positively or negatively. He read scripture s proverbs 4 vs 23. Proverbs 27vs 19 and proverbs 23 vs7. He says what a man thinks in his heart defines him outwardly. He encourages the congregation of God to always think positively and say positive words in their hearts and read Gods Word. He read Mathew 15:18-19. He explains. He asked if the congregation of God have questions and few people ask questions and answered using scriptures to back up.

The style I snapped to my fashion designer to sew for me

After the program,I wait behind to get my women anniversary clothes for the next Sunday, the women group I am in church chose a particular cloth for anniversary as other women group chose theirs because the following Sunday is women anniversary in the church of God. I collect my clothes from the group leader in the church but I couldn’t take a picture of it in the church because my off battery is low and my phone couldn’t carry out any further tasks. I head home and bought popcorn for my son from the church supermarket and uncooked maize from the roadside to cook for the family for lunch.
