The Diary game:Better life with steem. A Blessed Friday: Prayers, Orchard Work, and a Productive Day. 1 may 2026
Today was Friday, and being one of the most auspicious days in Islamic principles, I planned to wake up very early. After performing ablution, I went for the morning prayers and began my day by bowing down in prostration with gratitude. I rushed towards the mosque so that I could reach on time and offer my prayers in congregation, which is considered highly rewarding—especially on a Friday.
As soon as I finished my prayers and supplications, I headed back home. Without wasting any time, I went straight to the backyard for a workout. I exercised until I broke a good sweat and felt satisfied with the effort I had put in. After that, I went inside to freshen up and helped my mother in the kitchen. Soon, I had my breakfast and then moved to my room for some reading, as I enjoy learning about different subjects.
It was quite sunny outside, and I also walked barefoot over the cold, dew-laden grass in the backyard. The experience was soothing and deeply calming. It is commonly said here that walking on such grass early in the morning improves eyesight. While I cannot say much about that, I certainly felt a sense of peace and composure.
After reading a few chapters on the Indian economy, it was around 12:30 PM when the call for prayer echoed from the nearby grand mosque. I prepared for the congregational Friday prayers by taking a bath as part of Sunnah, wearing fresh clothes, and leaving without having lunch. After offering the prayers, I returned home quickly, feeling quite hungry, and finally had my meal.
Soon after, my uncle called and informed me that we needed to visit one of our orchards to spray systemic fungicides, as per the schedule issued by the concerned authorities. Since apple crops in their early stages are highly susceptible to fungal diseases, it is important to stay vigilant and follow proper spraying routines to ensure a healthy and high-quality yield.
Upon reaching the orchard, we first collected water in the containers already placed there. When it was time to start spraying, we realized the pump wasn’t working. I called another uncle and drove to pick him up so he could fix it. Thankfully, he managed to repair it quickly, and we resumed our work. It took us more than an hour to complete the spraying there.
After packing everything, we moved towards another orchard. I parked my car and then continued on a tractor carrying water containers. We mixed the pesticides into the water and used the mounted pump to spray the crops efficiently. By then, I was extremely thirsty, but unfortunately, there was no drinking water available, so I had to manage.
At the orchard located on top of the hill, I was the first to prepare the pesticide mixture—about 300 liters of water—which I completed quickly due to my familiarity with such tasks. After that, my uncle continued the work, and the tractor later moved to a neighboring orchard where they were waiting.
I then returned to where I had parked my car near one if my Orchards and drove back home. After freshening up, I left for the gym around 9 PM. Once I finished my workout, I returned home for dinner. Later, I read a few more chapters on the Indian economy, spent some time on social media, and then went to sleep.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
