The Diary game. Better life with steem. A Busy Day at Work and in the Apple Orchard. 30 july 2026

Today, as usual, I woke up early out of habit. I began my day by offering the Fajr prayer. Performing Salah is an essential obligation for every Muslim, and I believe that starting the day with prayer brings peace, discipline, and blessings.

After the prayer, I spent some time exercising. I worked up a good sweat because I like to stay health-conscious and make an effort to keep myself fit, healthy, and agile.

Once I finished my morning routine, I had breakfast and left for the office. These days, work has become extremely busy. Funds have recently been released for several development works, and now all the necessary documentation has to be completed so that payments can be transferred to the contractors’ bank accounts without any deficiencies or delays.

Apart from payment-related work, we also received several official communications that required immediate attention. In addition, our higher authorities assigned us more tasks during the day. As a result, the entire day passed in office work, and I did not even get a chance to have lunch.

In the afternoon, I had to accompany my boss because he also holds an additional charge at another office. Since we were occupied with official work, I couldn’t have a proper meal. By then, I was quite hungry, so I had a glass of lassi and a roti, which were enough to satisfy my hunger. Around 3:00 PM, I returned to my office because there were still a few important tasks that needed to be completed.

After finishing my office work, I headed straight home. I freshened up, had a cup of tea, and rested for a while. Later in the evening, we went to one of our apple orchards, located about three to four kilometres from our home on a hillside. At this stage of the season, the apples have grown considerably, making the branches much heavier. To prevent them from breaking under the weight of the fruit, it is necessary to provide proper support to the branches.

My parents and I worked together in the orchard, fixing supports for the branches. After some time, my uncle, who also owns a share of the orchard, joined us and helped with the same work.

We spent quite a while working there. Since the orchard is situated at a higher elevation, it offers a breathtaking view of our entire area. While taking a short break, I enjoyed listening to some music and admired the beautiful landscape. The cool evening breeze made the weather even more pleasant, and in the distance, I could clearly see the snow-covered mountains. The view was truly incredible.

After finishing our work, we returned home. It was finally time to relax and have another cup of tea. Later, my friends called me because I also had to collect milk from my uncle’s house. I drove there in my car, picked up the milk, and then stopped by one of my friend’s shops. We spent quite some time chatting, sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company.

As it grew late, I drove back home. By the time I arrived, the rest of my family had already finished dinner. I quickly freshened up and had my meal. Afterwards, I watched television for a while before finally going to bed at around 11:30 PM.

That is how my day came to an end—filled with office responsibilities, family work in the orchard, quality time with friends, and the peaceful satisfaction of another productive day.
