It was saturday, and I had to go to the office, so I woke up early in the morning. As usual, I started my day with prayer. After offering my prayers and making supplications, I did some exercise and worked up a good sweat. While exercising, I noticed a slight irritation in my throat. At first, I thought it was just a minor discomfort, but gradually I began to feel that it might be the beginning of an infection.

After finishing my workout, I went inside and helped my mother with some work in the kitchen. Once that was done, I had breakfast and started getting ready for the office. A little later, I left for work. One of my friends works in the same office and lives nearby, so I had to pick him up on the way. He called me a couple of times, which is why I left a bit earlier than usual, and we managed to reach the office on time.

As soon as I arrived, I got busy with my work. These days, we are processing payments for previously completed projects. However, our office currently does not have sufficient funds available, so we had to inform our higher authorities about our liabilities and pending payments. We submitted all the necessary details and requested the release of funds. Unfortunately, the online system through which we process payments is currently not functioning because it is being migrated to another platform. As a result, we could not accomplish much in terms of payment processing. Still, all the offline formalities and paperwork had already been completed, so now we are simply waiting for the funds to be released and for the portal to become operational again.

After spending the day at the office, I had my lunch around 1 PM, which I usually carry with me. Later, I decided to leave the office a little earlier than usual because I was not feeling completely well. At that point, I did not have any fever or obvious signs of illness, but I had developed a mild cough and continued to feel irritation in my throat. Initially, I thought that perhaps something was stuck in my throat, but as time passed, it became clear that it was probably something more than that.

When I reached home, I freshened up, had a cup of tea, and then headed towards one of our orchards. These days, visiting the orchards and monitoring the apple trees has become part of my daily routine. Any disease that appears in the orchard can cause serious damage within a short period, so regular inspections are essential. I visited an orchard located at the far end of the village, which requires crossing a small stream. When I arrived there, I met my uncle, who had already inspected the trees. His observations gave me some peace of mind. He told me that there was no immediate need to spray any chemicals, although a few insects had started attacking the trees. Because of that, an insecticide spray would eventually be necessary. However, since the rainy season is currently underway, we decided to wait a few more days before carrying out the spray.

By the time I returned home, it was already evening. I rested for a while, and around 7 PM, it was time for my gym session. I drove to the gym, but I could not exercise much because I was feeling unusually tired. That fatigue was beginning to make me realize that I was probably coming down with an illness. After doing a light workout, I returned home.

On my way back, I had purchased some medicines. After dinner, I took the medication, but unfortunately, I vomited shortly afterward and the medicine came back up. Later, I went to bed hoping to get some rest, but I could not sleep properly throughout the night. I felt restless and uncomfortable, and despite trying to relax, I remained uneasy for most of the night. By then, it seemed clear that whatever illness had been developing during the day was finally beginning to take hold.
