The Diary game. Better life with steem. Field Visit to Doodhpathri | Day 3 of Training. 15-07-2026
Today was the third day of our training, and unlike the previous two days, it wasn’t scheduled in a training hall. Instead, it was a field visit, so everyone was excited and looking forward to it.
Before leaving for the training, I had an important task to complete. We have an apple orchard located about nine kilometers from our home, and the trees needed to be sprayed with pesticides. I had planned to finish this work the previous day so I could stay free today, but due to the unavailability of enough water in the orchard, I had to return home without completing the spraying. Later that evening, we managed to store enough water, but by then it had become too late to spray.
So, after offering the Fajr prayer this morning and doing a short workout, I left for the orchard at around 6:30 a.m. As soon as we arrived, we got straight to work. I sprayed the apple trees, and by around 9:00 a.m., we returned home. I quickly got ready, took a bath, changed into fresh clothes, and prepared to leave for the training.
This time, I decided not to take my own car because it would have to remain parked in a parking lot that closes at 6:00 p.m. After that time, if anything happens to the vehicle, no one is responsible. To avoid that risk, I preferred travelling by local transport.
When I reached Chadoora, I met some of my friends who were also part of the field visit. We spent some time chatting until our bus arrived. At first, the bus was quite noisy because many participants were greeting one another. However, once the journey began, the bus became surprisingly quiet as everyone settled into their seats.
Our destination was Doodhpathri, one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in our district, visited by thousands of tourists every year. As the bus headed towards Doodhpathri, I felt a little disappointed because I had expected that we would be taken somewhere new. I had visited Doodhpathri just two days earlier, so I was hoping for a different location.
After reaching Doodhpathri, we initially didn’t stop anywhere. We had planned to enjoy tea beside the river at a place called Mujpathar, but that didn’t happen because the vehicle carrying our refreshments was still behind us, and we had no idea where it was. Since vehicles are not allowed beyond the first entry gate after 12:00 noon, we decided to continue driving so we could cross the gate before the restriction came into effect. Fortunately, we managed to pass through the gate in time.
A little later, the remaining vehicles arrived after completing the necessary security checks. Once everyone had gathered, it was finally time to explore the main Doodhpathri area. I teamed up with a few friends, and we started exploring on foot.
Soon, lunch was served. We had our meal first, which gave us the energy to continue exploring the vast landscape. After lunch, we headed towards different scenic spots, capturing photographs of the breathtaking views. I always try to photograph every beautiful place I visit, but due to the limited storage on my phone, I cannot keep every picture for long. I often have to delete older photos to make room for new ones.
I spent the afternoon walking around, taking photographs, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. At around 4:30 p.m., I returned to the bus along with my friends. During our walk, we covered a fair distance, admired the natural beauty around us, and also got to know each other better.
Around 5:00 p.m., we began our return journey. The atmosphere inside the bus was completely different this time. We laughed, cracked jokes, listened to music, and had a great time together. On the way back, we stopped at a roadside restaurant for tea. We enjoyed hot tea along with traditional makki ki roti. After finishing our refreshments and paying the bill, we resumed our journey.
We were dropped back at Chadoora, where I boarded a local Sumo taxi that took me home. After reaching home, I freshened up. Since it was already quite late, I had a cup of tea to satisfy my hunger before heading to the market to buy a few essential household items. Once I returned, I had dinner and finally went to bed.
This is how I spent the third day of my training—starting the day with work in the apple orchard, enjoying a memorable field visit to Doodhpathri with colleagues, and ending the day with a peaceful return home.
