CHESS COMPETION
Last Sunday, a district-level open chess competition was held in Kannampalayam, Coimbatore, and both my husband and son participated in it. My husband recorded this video; however, spectators are not allowed inside while the matches are in progress, and competitors are prohibited from carrying items like phones or watches. Consequently, it was impossible to film the start or the actual gameplay. Nevertheless, after the matches concluded and he stepped out, he went back inside with his phone to record the video. The tournament consisted of seven rounds in total, though they could not participate in all of them; they missed the first round because we arrived slightly late. They participated in the remaining six rounds and won four matches each. Although they did not win any prizes, they did receive certificates.
