The Diary Game: 11th July 2026. Life of an introvert

Diary of My Day

Hey, loves.🥰 Good evening, and welcome to another day in the life of a stay-at-home girl—an introvert. I want to share with you how my day went.
Today was pretty much a routine day. There wasn’t anything particularly different or exciting because, as you all know, I’m a stay-at-home girl and an introvert at the same time. Most of my days are usually quiet and simple, and today was no exception.

This morning, I woke up, said my prayers, and then headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After that, I went straight to the kitchen to wash the dishes. Thankfully, there weren’t many—just the plate I used for dinner the previous night and the tray I used while eating barbecue. Since I live alone, I rarely have a pile of dishes to wash, which is one less thing to worry about.

After washing the dishes, I stepped outside to spread the clothes I had washed about three days ago. It has been raining almost nonstop these past few days, so there hadn’t been enough sunshine for them to dry. Every day, I’ve been taking the clothes outside whenever the rain stopped and bringing them back in whenever it started again. It has been a repeated cycle. Luckily, today the sun finally came out, and my clothes dried completely. I was really happy about that because I had been waiting for days.

Once I was done, I came back inside to prepare my breakfast. I still had some leftover jollof spaghetti that I cooked the day before, so I warmed it up, served it, and enjoyed it. That was all I had for breakfast, and it was enough to keep me going.

After eating, I lay down with my phone, replied to a few messages, chatted with some people, and spent some time scrolling through social media. Before I knew it, I had dozed off. Since I was alone and there was no electricity throughout the day, the quiet atmosphere made it easy for me to sleep peacefully.

When I woke up later, I decided it was time for lunch. I brought out the white soup I had stored in the fridge, warmed it up, and paired it with fufu. It was really satisfying, and I enjoyed every bit of it.

By evening, I was still very full from lunch, so I didn’t feel the need to have dinner. Instead, I waited until it started getting dark before taking my bath.

Later in the evening, I stepped outside briefly to buy some pepper that I’ll be using to prepare tomorrow’s meal. That was actually the only time I left the house today. I bought what I needed and came straight back home, just like I usually do.

Most days are like this for me. I hardly go out, no one really comes to visit me, and I don’t have many friends around. Most of the time, it’s just me. But I believe this season won’t last forever. I know that with time, once I get myself together and find a job, things will gradually change. I’ll have more reasons to go out, meet people, and live a more active life. For now, I’m taking things one day at a time and believing that better days are ahead.

So, that’s how my day went today. Nothing extraordinary, nothing stressful—just another peaceful, quiet day in my life.

Thank you for spending a few minutes reading my diary with me today. I truly appreciate you being here, and I hope you’ll come back to read the next one when I share it.

Good night, my loves. See you in the next diary. Bye!
