Assalamu Alaikum friends, I hope you are all well and doing your work well. Today I am going to post a task from teacher @suboohi, which is about a very interesting recipe Dinner roll/Bun and my children have liked this recipe very much and it is a very famous recipe that almost everyone, children, old people, women, all make it and eat it with enthusiasm.
- Q.1.What steps are important to make a perfect dough. Have you tried it before?
The initial step requires precise measurement of all ingredients through the use of a scale which handles both flour and water because the specific ratios of these ingredients need to be maintained.
High protein flour serves as the appropriate choice for bread baking while lower protein flour functions better in making pastries.
Yeast dough needs warm water at 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit and 24 to 27 degrees Celsius whereas pie and puff pastry require cold water.
The process of autolyse requires flour and water to be combined and then left to rest for 20 to 30 minutes before salt and yeast get introduced because this method enables natural gluten development.
Kneading needs to continue until the dough reaches a smooth texture which achieves elastic properties through the windowpane test for bread but bakers should stop before they extend kneading to soft doughs.
The bulk fermentation process needs to take place in a heated environment where bakers should cover the dough and let it rise until it reaches double its original size but the required time for this process needs to be determined through observation.
The process of punching down dough starts with gentle handling to shape the dough while maintaining its structure and gluten content.
The second proofing process requires the dough to rise again until it reaches a puffy state.
Bakers need to test whether their baked dough has reached the correct doneness by either tapping the bottom which produces a hollow sound or measuring the internal temperature which should range between 190 and 210 degrees Fahrenheit and 88 and 99 degrees Celsius.

Before making this recipe, I gathered all the ingredients I needed in one place so that I could make it easily.

First I put the flour in a bowl so that I could prepare it. Then I added half a glass of milk to it and then added the yogurt to it. The yogurt acts as a leavening agent, which causes the dough to rise.

After that, I added half a spoon of sugar, baking soda and ghee to this flour dough, then an egg and mixed it well. Baking soda plays an important role in making the bun because due to it, it becomes very strong after rising.

After taking out all the ingredients, I kneaded the dough well so that all the ingredients are mixed in it and this recipe is easy to prepare. Bun is a very popular item. Small children love to eat it very much and so young and old people all eat it with passion because it is soft and delicious. Some like to eat it with tea, while others use it with milk.

Now I have prepared four buns by kneading this dough. You can see in the picture how beautiful the four buns are. Now it has to be covered with a cloth for a few hours so that yeast is produced in it and it can be prepared easily. And the softness in it is also produced due to the yeast and thus it does not seem hard to eat, but rather soft, which is why people of all ages like it.

Now the buns that I had ready had yeast in them after a few hours. Now I put them in the microwave alternately in the oven and cooked them for about eight minutes, applying a little ghee and sesame seeds on top. They slowly rose, which made a beautiful bun. The aroma spread all around and my children were restless to eat them because they had never prepared them at home before.
Now you can see that the beautiful brown buns are ready and hearts are also visible on them and the aroma is spreading all around.

By keeping in mind few things you can make a perfect bread i.e measure ingredients accurately, proper kneading, resting the dough until it doubles (not time), stretching dough well can give you 90% better results.
