The Dairy Game: [31/07/2026] Real Life lesson and Study Friday
Hello everyone, it's @dpsalmist247 Samuel. - Welcome to another interesting episode of dairy session. It's another life lesson with me today but let me first share how my day started. I woke up around 6am and had my prayers. After which I did my laundry, washed my bedsheets and a few clothes and sun dried them on the line.
Drying my bedsheet on the line.
Afterwards I went to a close by "kosai" and pap spot to have my breakfast. "kosai" is a hausa (northern Nigerian) term for beans cake. I spent a while there talking with other customers as we had our meal before boarding a keke on my way to school.

In a tricycle on my way to school.
At school, I went to my newly found library only to find it locked. I however found a spot I could charge my devices and I stayed there till my devices were fully charged. Now a bit of the life lesson I'd want to share is gleaned from where I found a space

Walking towards my favourite reading location.
So I had initially passed by the security personnel in charge of that area and exchanged pleasantries with him before I walked on. when I couldn't find a suitable spot to read and charge my devices, I asked him if I could use the reception area close to his station and he obliged. I highlighted that to say that I exchanged pleasantries with him not knowing I'd require his assistance shortly

My take away life lesson from the above is that we should always endeavour to show courtesy everywhere and anywhere we find ourselves. it would have been awkward if I had ignored him when passing by initially only to come back and seek his assistance. Courtesy helped the conversation to flow easily and it remains a good soft skill for all time.

Getting a recharge card from an accessory store
After I was done with my work, I appreciated him and was about leaving when I met a senior colleague of mine. we chatted for a while before I took my leave. on my way home, I stopped by a phone accessories shop to get a recharge card after which I walked home. I had noodles for dinner, had a little test and connected to YouTube streaming of a live vigil service that was ongoing as I tucked myself in to sleep.
