You presented the Egusi soup so well, and I enjoyed reading through each step of your preparation. Though it's a bit differ from how I used to prepare mine. But your final dish looks inviting. I also liked how you explained the cultural importance of the meal especially a personal story about how it brought comfort to your family during difficult times.

But let me jokingly disagree with you on one thing. 😄 While Egusi is loved by most Nigerians and rooted from Igbo tribe, Edikang Ikong and Afang soup proudly originated from the Ibibio and Efik tribes of Akwa Ibom and Cross River. 😁 Just that we happily shared those delicious recipes with the rest of the country because good food is meant to unite us all.
