The spirit of working in the rice fields

Today was a very tiring day, and on this sunny day, I also had a lot to do, especially going to the rice fields to clear the weeds that were growing along our rice fields before our rice planting in a few days. As soon as I woke up this morning, I immediately freshened up, and then my mother and I headed straight to the rice fields.

Upon arriving at the rice fields today, I saw that the weather was indeed very sunny, and without further ado, I went down to the fields with my machete in hand. Using this machete, I quickly cleared the weeds from the rice fields, bit by bit, until everything was done.

Our rice fields were also very watery today. Luckily, there was little water in the irrigation system, so we were able to drain the excess water into the irrigation system. My brother also helped me drain this excess water, because otherwise, we wouldn't be able to plant rice with our overwatered fields like today.

However, what made our work a little easier was that my mother and I had brought watermelons from home. We could rest and eat them, which instantly relieved our fatigue. After a few hours of working in the rice fields, we decided to go home because we also had to sell today, or rather, my mother wanted to sell for half a day.

And I couldn't sell myself because I had to do my own work, and one of the tasks I had to do was edit 10 TikTok videos to upload to my account to earn my services. This was a very enjoyable experience for me because I could still be productive every day.
