Dairy Game: 11/06/2026 - Exam Break and Rest

Hello Steem-Fam! Hope you're all doing well. I'm excited to share my day with you guys again and this was how my day went. Today I woke up super early because I had an exam this morning. Well, I actually had two exams to write at the exact same time. Because in my 200 level I failed a course. That period, I was going through a really hard time financially and emotionally. This caused me to not focus fully on my academics.

It was my first failure and I wanted it to be my last. This time I was putting in my best in my studies. I had studied until 1am the previous night. I slept a bit and woke up around 4 to study. I studied with small breaks in between until around 7:20 and that was when I took this picture.

I studied for about 10 mins more before I finally went to freshen up and head to school. I got to school before the exam started and I was able to still read a little bit then the exam started. I was able to quickly write one exam for about an hour before going for the other exam. All this was within the 2 hour and 30 minutes that was allotted for the exam. The exam finally finished for the day and it was time to go home. I was so happy to go home.

Today's exam was supposed to be our last exam paper for the semester. But unfortunately for us, there was a huge mistake in our department so 3 more courses was added to our courses for the semester. We had not had any classes for these courses so it was agreed that we would use about 3 weeks to study these courses then write the exams after the 3 weeks. Luckily for us the exam would be online so we could go home for a short break before the next semester.

On my way home I stopped to buy some beans and yam. When I got home I ate it with garri (a local delicacy) and I took a short nap. I really enjoyed the nap because I was not worrying about studying. I felt at peace and was able to relax well. This was me after my short nap. Well rested and happy.

I didn't plan on taking a short nap. The sound of rain and thunder woke me up and I realised it was raining. I didn't have any water at home so I quickly took my buckets and drum outside.

I was glad I didn't have to spend money on buying water this evening. I didn't do chores today because I was tired and I wanted to rest. The day was good overall and this evening is even better because I am going to continue watching the cool Nollywood series I was watching earlier this week then sleep some more. But that would be after I finish eating the fried potatoes I bought.

I couldn't even wait to serve it on a plate, I was eating it straight from the wrap because I was so hungry AND lazy. I was going back home for the holidays very early tomorrow and I didn't want any dirty plates. Thanks for letting me share my day guys. See you in another episode of my dairy.
