Here is: contest link. Anyway, let's get started--
Today, I will share with you what I ate for my evening snack and dinner. Since I am currently living in a hostel away from home, it is not possible for me to cook my own meals. However, as I am currently assigned to the "messing" duty—which entails handling the shopping, menu selection, and food preparation—I often find myself so overwhelmed by the workload that I barely have time to eat throughout the day. Consequently, I ended up having my evening snack and then waiting until dinner to eat again. Those of us in charge of these duties worked incredibly hard that day; on April 15th, we made every possible effort to ensure that everyone in the hostel—including the cooking staff—enjoyed a truly excellent meal. Since everyone pays their monthly meal dues at the beginning of the month, each team typically tries to save some funds to provide a particularly lavish spread. While not everyone manages to pull this off, my team executed it flawlessly; I, too, enjoyed a fantastic meal and had a wonderful time.
Evening Snack
For the evening snacks, we served everyone vegetable chops and a beverage—specifically Frooti or Maaza. However, I forgot to take a picture of the chops.
Dinner
For dinner, we served Fried Rice, Paneer Kosha, Chicken Kosha, chutney, papad, Rosmalai, yogurt, and Pass Pass. The Fried Rice was particularly delightful, thanks to the inclusion of green peas, cashews, and raisins, as well as a generous touch of ghee. In the Paneer Kosha, we not only ensured that the pieces of paneer were cut into large chunks but also provided a very generous quantity of the dish. Since I do not eat meat, I did not take any photographs of the meat dishes. The chutney was tomato-based and featured an abundance of cashews, raisins, and dates. The chutney was accompanied by Bat Papad. Given the rather warm weather, we also served yogurt and Rosmalai; both desserts were incredibly delicious and delightfully soft. Finally, to aid digestion, each person was given a packet of Pass Pass—a sweet treat characterized by the lovely aroma of fennel seeds blended with other ingredients.
Every single dish was incredibly delicious and delightful—something that I, along with everyone else at the hostel, thoroughly enjoyed.
I went to invite these friends:
