When we think of a sweet and cold dessert, the first thing that comes to our mind is ice cream. When the tinkling of a bell is heard in a corner of a bustling fair or market at night, everyone's eyes are drawn to that ice cream truck. Today, I will take you on a tour of a very popular and traditional national franchise or local ice cream chain in our country. Let's take a tour of my and my family's favorite ice cream corner.

• Location: Mirpur 10, in front of Ideal School, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is basically a very popular mobile ice cream shop sitting on the side of the road.

• Opening Hours: This ice cream van is crowded with customers every day from noon to 11:00 PM.

They serve the local special Malai Cone ice cream and refreshing sorbet made mainly from pure milk. Several shops under the same ownership are regularly located in front of this ideal school.

Quality:

This is not an ordinary factory ice cream. This ice cream is made by continuously stirring it manually in a steel drum with ice and salt. Its texture is very thick, tastes like kheer or malai, and is 100% chemical-free. You get a great feeling of malai when you put it in your mouth.

Price details and sales volume:

Being a local franchise, its price is within everyone's reach and very affordable. The price is very low, and because it is sold in the local market, a large quantity of ice cream is sold here every day. The crowd of customers is always here. I'm trying to share a list of the food below:

• Structure and Environment (Kulfi Malai and Cone Ice Cream):
  The ice cream van is very attractively decorated. It has a beautiful roof on the top and colorful neon lights around it, which catches the eyes of people from afar at night. The van is beautifully decorated with a large number of crispy cones wrapped in plastic packets and traditional Kulfi Malai, which makes any passerby's tongue water. Shoppers and children who come to shop along this busy road of Mirpur 10 are always crowded around it.

• Ice Cream and Sherbet Serving (Customer Service):
  The vendors here handle the customers very skillfully and quickly. The vendor in the van is making a wonderful ice cream for the customers (especially small children) by scooping ice cream from the drum with a big spoon. Apart from Kulfi Malai, this van also has a good arrangement of refreshing sherbet. This sherbet is served beautifully in glass glasses to the thirsty customers. Despite the pressure of the customers, the vendor is serving ice cream and sherbet to everyone with a friendly smile on his face.

Being a local and traditional street franchise, the payment process here is straightforward. Here, bills are mainly paid in cash. However, with the touch of digital Bangladesh, now, if necessary, you can also pay through mobile banking (bKash or Nagad). I bought the ice cream and paid the bill in cash.

One thing that particularly impressed me was the crispiness of their cones. Sometimes, cones get soft when left out in the open, but the way they store them in airtight plastic bags gives them a great crunchy feel with every bite. And to prevent the ice cream from melting on your clothes or hands, they wrap each cone in tissue paper.

✓ What makes you choose this ice cream shop: its prices, the atmosphere, the service, or another reason?

I mainly choose this ice cream for its authentic local taste and family emotions. Whenever we go out for any shopping at Mirpur 10, my daughter never misses eating ice cream here! My daughter loves ice cream so much that even though she had a cold and her nose was running, she still wanted to eat her ice cream! Seeing my daughter's sweet insistence and such love for ice cream, we mainly visit this shop regularly.

✓ In your opinion, is ice cream only for hot days or can it also be enjoyed in the cold?

In my opinion, ice cream does not have a specific season. Just like the song of summer, it cools our bodies and minds; a garland of ice cream on a chilly winter night has a different thrill. For others, seasons do not matter; for them,ce cream is another joy. This activity is one of my favorite things to do while walking around the familiar Mirpur on a foggy winter night. So ice cream is perfect for all seasons.

✓ Are you someone who prefers classic flavors (like vanilla, chocolate or strawberry) or do you like to take risks and try exotic and innovative combinations?

Although many foreign and fusion flavors are available in modern shops, I always prefer our traditional local Malai Classic flavor the most. The familiar taste and aroma of pure milk Malai cannot be compared to any other artificial flavor. Especially my whole family and my little daughter enjoy this classic flavor the most.
