SLC31-W3 | The Curious Explorer : Daily Life Activities.

Hello friends welcome to this week’s curious exploration.

What kind of Daily Life Activities have you visited? Briefly introduce yourself.

I am Alexander Peace and for this week, as a curious explorer, I have explored TobyEd supermarket. TobyEd supermarket is a good supermarket within where I live. It’s located at No 32 Asani street off Ilaje, Bariga Lagos state.

It’s newly built and one that’s strategically located. I have gone there to shop before and for this challenge, I decided to really explore it and I had a good time.

First I took a picture in front of the supermarket showing my curious explorers card on my hands. On entering the supermarket, I also took a picture with my card in my hand as a proof of my exploration presence and also a selfie to confirm my presence.

TobyEd supermarket is one that sells all forms of personal and household items and food items from water to drinks, ice creams, toiletries perfumes and etc. you get a variety of items and different brands to choose from. Join me as we explore their activities and facilities.

How were the activities, services and facilities at this place? (With pictures + prices, videos)

On entrance you will see the entrance door. The supermarket has one door for both entrance and exit and there’s a door guard at the door to open the door for the customers as they come in and as they exit.

On the left to the door is a locked set where customers put in their bags on entering, they do this mostly to decide the customers extra properties and also prevent shop lifting.

There is also some baskets kept on the entrance for the customers use to help in collecting shopped items. The first glance you take at the supermarket ground floor is welcoming, more like telling you to be free to shop as you want.

There are some staff positioned here and there to help customers with their shopping experience. The ground floor is made up of so many aisles. And each aisle houses different forms of goods.

These aisles are not numbered but they are arranged in a way that that each houses similar products for easy identification and you can ask the staff for direction on how to get to a particular product section.

The have 24 hours power supply and the air conditioning systems is working well. The difference inside and outside is very clear. The environment is very cool.

The different floors houses different things and whatever is bought in any of the floors is paid for on the ground floor. They have three cashiers point for customers to pay.

Their services are seemless as all the products are tagged and are easy to find. I bought a sanitary pad and one of the cashiers attended to me. They are customer friendly. I made my transfers and was referred to the packaging point.

My good was packaged and the door guard held the door open for me on exit.

What are the attractive products in that store?

This supermarket have a wide range of attractive and beautiful products in the store for the customers to choose from.

To the extreme on the left is the aisles for ice cream and drinks and refrigerators for different kinds of drinks and yoghurts. You will also see the wine spot housing different kinds of wines to use from. The sight is beautiful.

Towards the right extreme and the middle rows are extension of the drinks that are not in the refrigerators. These drinks are on the shelves. We also have other products like fancy biscuits of different brands and other provisions like cereals and all that class.

Then by the right is a stair case leading upstairs to the first storey. On the getting to the first floor, you will be greeted with a beautiful sight and all sides of perfumes, creams, body scrubs and all sort of body treatment products. By the counter is the section for baby things neatly arranged. You would only feel
Like buying and buying.

After that the stairs still leads upstairs to the third floor where you get household items of all types from plates to knives, cultleries, etc.

They also have sections for detergents and house cleaning items and toiletries brands of different types. You won’t miss on sanitary sections and food items of different types. Their products are really very good with wide variations.

From the review I gave above, it’s obvious my experience as a curious explorer was a good one. It was my first time of carefully examining the supermarket and I was not disappointed at all.

First I love the strategic positioning of the place as it’s easily accessible on the road. The environment is very clean and the air is chilling. You will love shopping there.

Their goods are well arranged and carefully tagged with prices and they are readily affordable, slightly cheaper than some of the other supermarkets around the area.

Their customer service is beautiful and the staff are not rude. They help you when you ask questions and they attendance is fast and seamless. They also packaged your good for you and don’t request for extra payments for packaging as some supermarkets do.

It was a good experience and I will easily refer someone to buy from them again and again.
