The Diary Game || 17-6-26 || A Productive Day at School and an intense World Cup Match
Greetings everyone. I am happy to share how I spent my day today. It was a busy and interesting day filled with teaching, learning, football, and good food.
Morning Routine |

I woke up very early in the morning and the first thing I did was to thank God for the gift of life. I said my prayers and committed the activities of the day into God's hands. After praying, I carried out some house chores to keep my surroundings neat and organized. When I was done with the chores, I prepared myself for the day ahead.
Since I did not cook that morning, I went to a nearby food vendor and bought rice and beans for breakfast. The meal was nice and filling, and it gave me the energy I needed for the day's activities. After eating, I got ready and left for school.

When I arrived at Winners Vineyard Academy, I prepared for my classes. During the first period, I taught Basic Science. The topic for the lesson was Greenhouse Effect on Climate and the Causes of Climate Change. I explained how gases in the atmosphere trap heat from the sun and how human activities such as bush burning, deforestation, and the burning of fossil fuels contribute to climate change.
The pupils listened carefully and participated in the lesson.
Later, I taught Mathematics. The topic was Perimeter of a Circle. I explained the formula and showed the pupils how to solve different examples. To test their understanding, I gave them classwork. I moved around the classroom to check their work and assist those who needed help.
After the break period, I taught ICT. The topic was Search Engine. I explained what a search engine is and how it helps people find information on the internet. I also gave examples of popular search engines and discussed their importance in education and research.
The school day went smoothly, and I was happy with the level of participation from the pupils. By the end of the lessons, I felt satisfied with the work I had done.

School activities ended for the day, and I returned home at about 3:00 pm. When I got home, I discovered that there was no food available to eat. Since I was feeling tired after spending several hours teaching, I decided to rest for a while. I took a short nap which helped me regain some energy for the evening activities ahead.

At about 4:30 pm, I went for my usual private lesson. I taught two children Mathematics. The topic for the lesson was Mean, Median, and Mode. I explained the meaning of each concept and showed them how to solve different questions.
We worked through several examples together, and I also gave them exercises to practice on their own. They paid attention throughout the lesson and were able to answer many of the questions correctly. It was encouraging to see them improving in their understanding of Mathematics.
Watching the Portugal vs DR Congo |

After the evening lesson, I went to a viewing center to watch the FIFA World Cup match between Portugal and DR Congo. The atmosphere at the viewing center was lively as football lovers gathered to support their favorite teams.
Portugal started the match on a strong note and scored the first goal through João Neves in the early minutes of the game. Many fans expected Portugal to dominate the match after taking the lead. However, DR Congo remained determined and continued to fight for an equalizer.
Just before halftime, DR Congo got their reward when Yoane Wissa scored the equalizing goal.
The supporters of DR Congo celebrated loudly as their team drew level against one of the strongest teams in the competition.
During the second half, Portugal enjoyed more possession and created a few chances, but DR Congo defended well and remained organized.
Both teams pushed for a winning goal, but neither side was able to break the deadlock. At the final whistle, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. It was an exciting game that kept the fans entertained from start to finish.

After watching the match, I went to a restaurant to have my dinner. I ordered Afang soup mixed with melon soup and fufu. The meal was very delicious and satisfying. I enjoyed every part of it because I was quite hungry after the day's activities.

Overall, it was a productive and enjoyable day. I was able to teach important lessons at school, conduct my evening lesson successfully, watch an exciting World Cup match, and enjoy a delicious dinner. Most importantly, I thank God for His protection, strength, and guidance throughout the day.
