This week @max-pro brother has brought us a wonderful and different theme "The Curious Explorer : Food Culture Journey". As a curious explorer, in today's blog, I will share with you a great experience of the traditional food culture of our city and take you to a very popular traditional restaurant in Uttara, Dhaka, whose wonderful hospitality and delicious taste really impressed me.

☞ What kind of Food Culture Journey have you visited? Briefly introduce yourself.

In today's food culture journey, I have chosen a traditional restaurant or "Traditional Restaurant", named Salam's Kitchen. It is a very well known, popular and popular food place located in Sector-11, Uttara, Dhaka. They have three branches in Dhaka City, out of which this restaurant in Uttara is mainly a traditional and festive food of Bangladesh, the main attraction of which is 'Kacchi Biryani' and is highly appreciated by foodies for serving various delicious platters. In our Bengali culture, food is not just a means of satisfying hunger, but it is also a big part of festivals and gatherings. And traditional restaurants like Salam's Kitchen perfectly highlight that aspect, where everything from simple white rice-bharta to the most talked about and traditional food of today, mutton kacchi, is available under the same roof.

From the outside, there is no way to understand how modern, neat and beautifully decorated this salam's kitchen restaurant is from the inside. Salam's Kitchen is located on the third floor of the building. To make it easier for customers to move around, there is a wide staircase as well as a modern elevator or lift, which is very convenient for the elderly and children.

Salam's Kitchen restaurant is not easy to understand from the outside how modern, neat and beautifully decorated it is from the inside. As soon as you enter the restaurant, the modern and aesthetic interior design of its walls, floors and ceilings is bound to catch the eye of any visitor. Just as its well-decorated walls have been decorated with elegant taste, the modern lighting and excellent flooring on the ceiling have increased the beauty of the entire environment many times over. In addition, the entire restaurant is fully air-conditioned to ensure the utmost comfort and relaxation of the customers. Due to this pleasant and cool indoor environment, you can enjoy traditional delicious food here with your family or loved ones in a very nice and festive atmosphere.

The service quality of the restaurant is very professional and the staff is very sincere and everyone follows a specific dress code. Keeping in mind the convenience of the customers, there is a separate washroom for men and women and a modern hand wash basin. Another special attraction here is that their kitchen is completely separate and secure, due to which cooking smoke, heat or any noisy environment does not enter the dining space. Besides, as the entry of general visitors into the kitchen room is completely prohibited, 100% hygiene and privacy of the food is ensured.

​After enjoying the food at Salam's Kitchen, the bill payment process is very easy, modern and customer-friendly. All types of digital and traditional payment methods have been opened for paying the bill here. If you want, you can easily pay the bill through conventional cash or cash. In addition, for those who do not like to carry cash, there is a great facility of a modern POS machine to swipe any bank's debit or credit card. In addition, the bill can be paid safely and instantly by scanning it through the currently widely used mobile banking such as bKash or Nagad. Since all types of payment options are active, customers can pay their bills here through any convenient method without any additional hassle or extra charges.

Salam's Kitchen is unique in its taste of traditional food. We ordered their signature dish Mutton Kacchi for our lunch, along with traditional Jali Kabab and two cold drinks to quench our thirst. The rice of the Kacchi Biryani was absolutely fluffy and the aroma of the basmati rice was incomparable. The mutton or khasi meat was so soft and juicy that it melted in the mouth. The potatoes were also spicy and well-cooked. The minced meat inside the Jali Kabab and the crispy coating like egg net on top enhanced the taste of the Kacchi many times over. Due to the quality of the food, the use of pure ghee and the right proportion of aroma, it is known as one of the best Kacchi in Uttara. Another nice and wonderful thing is that after finishing the meal, before paying the bill, they serve us the traditional 'Bhaja Masala' to refresh our mouths completely free of charge, which was quite a nice mouthwash.

The time spent at Salam's Kitchen was a wonderful experience for me as an explorer. I observed the disciplined planning and customer satisfaction that goes into running a successful restaurant chain very closely here. From the entrance to the billing counter, the coordination of every department was perfect. Their service and sincere hospitality compared to the price of the food impressed me the most. Such a beautiful, clean and tasteful dining space with lift facilities in the heart of the busy city is truly commendable. Due to the perfect taste of the food and the wonderful indoor environment, this place can be an ideal destination for any foodie's food journey. From inside, you can enjoy the view of the outside from the glass.
