The diary game: flashback, cooking and shopping [29/03/2026].
Happy Sunday to everyone, hope you are doing great? I am your's truly @envyalbert. Here is my diary session for today. When I got up from sleep this morning, I was pondering on a lot of things, and at some point, I took up my phone and started going through my photo gallery, viewing a lot of pictures, then saw a particular picture that reminds me of my journey during my Nigeria Youth Service Corp (NYSC) program.

A training session during my NYSC
The NYSC program is a program every graduand from university, polytechnic, college of education or monothecnic must participate to before officially becoming a graduate. This program lasts for a year and within the year you are expected to camp for three weeks, during which you undergo training by the army same period. There are different kinds of training to go through within this period and moreso, a lot of guests are invited daily excluding Sundays to us orientation on issues concerning different job opportunities like, banking, technology, oil and gas and so on. Expatriate in different fields of life also come to the camp to mentor us during the three week camping. After camping, we are now deployed to various institutions to serve for the remaining eleven months. This is where we tend to gain practical knowledge of our field and many times after serving, these institutions tend to retain those who did excellently.
Rice, egg and banana for lunch
After flipping through the pictures on my phone, I paused and the memories of that program was just over my head. Later on I had to prepare lunch which is rice with egg and banana. Of course at this point it was necessary not to keep myself hungry all in the context of going down memory lane. I enjoyed myself with my little meal, it's weekend though, that's why I decided to cook and not to eat at an eatery.

Palm oil bought from the market
The next thing on my mind was to go to the market and buy palm oll bacause the one I have is almost finished. I wore my clothes and put on my sandals then left to the market to buy it. I didn't trek too fast because I also wanted to look around and view nature while trekking, so I arrived the market and bought it, then returned home to rest .
