A Beautiful Cricket Ground Hidden in the Forest

These are the scenes from one of the cricket grounds in our area. It is located about 8 kilometers from our village, deep inside a beautiful forest. Unfortunately, our village does not have a proper cricket ground large enough for matches, so the local youngsters come all the way here to play.

The ground is truly breathtaking. Surrounded by tall trees, it has a lush green outfield covered with fresh grass, while a well-prepared turf pitch lies at the center. There are a few trees inside the playing area as well, but they certainly do not diminish the enthusiasm and passion that the local players have for the game.

I recorded this video today when the boys had gathered here to play the final of a local cricket tournament. Since it was a holiday and I had plenty of free time, I went there with a few friends to enjoy the match.

To be honest, the most fascinating part for me was not the match itself but the stunning beauty of the ground. The peaceful surroundings, the calm atmosphere, and the vibrant green outfield made the place truly special. Continuous rainfall over the past couple of weeks has refreshed the entire landscape, bringing the greenery back to life. Everywhere you looked, there were beautiful shades of green and breathtaking natural views.
