Lifestyle Diary Game (28-05-2026) | "My work on the day of Eid-ul-Azha"
Eid Mubarak, Assalamu Alaikum friends,
Today is the holy Eid-ul-Adha. On this day, all Muslims sacrifice in the name of Allah. Today, we wake up early in the morning and finish the housework together with the three wives of the house. My husband takes a bath and gets ready for the Eid prayers, so I keep his Punjabi-pajamas, hat, and perfume ready in advance. He gets ready and goes out with his night prayer to pray. Then the Eid prayers will be offered in the school field next door. After he leaves, I tidy up the room, take a bath, and offer the Eid prayers.
Then the three of us wives go to the kitchen and chop the spices, onions, ginger, and garlic and keep them ready. In the meantime, everyone comes home after praying. As soon as we get home, we take the sacrificial cow to the mosque grounds. When the cow is slaughtered, my husband comes home and I give him semai to eat. After eating semai, he leaves. In the meantime, Inteha told me, Aunty Ammu, let me dress her up, I dressed her up nicely and took some pictures, Mithila and Sadia came, Aunty Ammu said, we will take pictures too, I took pictures of them along with Inteha.
Then they went out.
We three wives talked for some time, in the meantime, the elder mother and one sister-in-law came, took the cow's intestines and heated their water to clean them. When their intestines were cleaned, I gave them to eat. At 1 o'clock, the meat is brought, washed and cleaned, and the elder sister cooks it. Meanwhile, they weigh the meat, put some in the fridge, and distribute it to all the relatives, neighbors, and poor people. When the call to prayer is given, I pray. When it is cooked, I feed my husband and brother-in-law, and Labib, Inteha, and elder brother also eat with them. When they are done eating, I clean it up, then I bathe Tawheed.
We sit down to eat with the three wives and the elder brother. When we are almost finished eating, the elder mother comes and feeds her. When we are done eating, I clean everything up and go to the room to sleep for a while. Today, the temperature is a little high in summer, so the air in the room is also hot. When the call to prayer for Asr is given, I wake up, do ablution, and pray. In the meantime, my brother-in-law says that I need to go to my younger aunt's house. My husband gets fresh and gets ready, takes the meat, and goes to my aunt's house. My sisters-in-law from the next house come and I chat with them for a while, I pray when the Maghrib call is given, they call me from home and sometimes I talk to my parents on video calls.
The moment my husband comes, the power goes out and he tells me to get ready and go out for tea. I tell him to let the power come on. Meanwhile, the power comes on. I tell Inteha to get ready if you are going out for a walk. Her mother says it is night. Go. Inteha says no. I tell him to get ready quickly. I also get ready. Then we go out. Our sakoa takes us to a restaurant called Kalapata. We go there. We go to the restaurant and pick up some food and order coffee and ice cream. Since it was Eid, there were a lot of people there, so it was late to serve them. After eating coffee and ice cream, we come home. Inteha falls asleep on the street. When I got home, I took him in my arms and left him in the room. When I got to the room, I changed, freshened up, ate dinner, brushed my teeth, made the bed, and went to sleep. May everyone be well and healthy until today.
May Allah protect us ❤️
