The diary game || 5-06-2026|| A Rainy Day at Work, Ordering some Food and a normal evening after work
Hi guys good day and welcome to another episode of my diary game with mjeelifestyle, today is the last work day of the week and here is a recap of how I spent my day.
So I woke up early around 6am to get ready for work, I said my prayers, brushed my teeth and had my bath then dressed up. I finished just on time maybe because I didn't make any food and I just took my time, I got a cab just as I stepped out of my street and waited till it was loaded. I got to work by few minutes past nine and signed in the attendance. It rained heavily the previous night and few minutes after getting to work......boom the rain started again, at that moment I just wished I was at home 😁
Well, some of my colleagues still showed up despite the rain and we still carried out our respective jobs.
By around 11am I was super hungry, I was thinking of skipping breakfast initially but the way my stomach was rumbling I had to quickly order from a restaurant close by. So for breakfast I had some jollof rice and chicken drumstick..my order arrived in no time and I quickly ate up so that I could get back to work.

It was still raining around 12pm and I went to the office kitchen to make some tea and had I had that with some buns, I bought the buns from a woman that came around our office to sale, she's a regular vendor at our work space. The tea was really helpful for the cold weather and the buns quite flavourful.

Around 2pm the rain had stopped so my colleagues and I were now able to step out for a quick field trip to meet our prospective clients. We stayed out for like two hours and returned back to the office by 4pm where we proceeded to close for the day. I took a stroll with some of my colleagues that were headed my way to the nearest bus stop and took a cap home. Due to the rain that fell earlier on, the was serious traffic congestion along the way, we stayed in traffic for like 40 minutes and I'm thankful I boarded a tricycle because the driver was able to maneuver his way and beat the traffic at some point, if I had boarded a car I would have spent hours in traffic.
I dropped at the front of my street and stood at this meat spot to buy some because it was looking so inviting. I bought some meat for just 500 naira and I dunno.....I wasn't really impressed tho, I'll rate it a 5/10 because it was not well seasoned, the season was only on the surface of the meat but inside it was tasteless. It really felt like a total waste of money but whatever.

I got home, I had my bath, did my skincare and went ahead to make eba then microwave the vegetable soup I had in the refrigerator. This is what I like the most about having a meal in the refrigerator, it makes work easier and comes in handy when one is exhausted. And I just enjoyed my meal in peace while scrolling through my phone, I was really occupied at work and barely touched my phone except received calls and checked my mails.
