Assalamu Alaikum, I hope by the grace of Allah you are all well. Alhamdulillah, I am also very well. Last Friday (April 24) was a very happy and busy weekend for me. I am sharing those beautiful moments with you today. So let's get started...!

Today being a holiday, I woke up a little later than usual. Then I freshened up and went to the market and had a satisfying breakfast of roti and dal bhaji. Then I needed some cash, so I went straight to the Dutch-Bangla Bank ATM booth and withdrew money from my account as per my requirement, after coming home I got busy with my work.

Since it was Friday, the call to prayer was given at the mosque while I was working at home. Then I went to the mosque and finished the Friday prayer. After returning home, I had lunch and fell asleep. When I woke up, I saw that it was already afternoon and evening. Now refreshed, I went to the market and bought cakes and biscuits for my son and an ice cream for myself and returned home. After returning home, I spent some happy moments with my little son. These small moments spent with my family give me a different kind of peace.

Around 7 pm, I went to Chashara Shaheed Minar to hang out with my office elder brother and friends. While hanging out at Shaheed Minar, we all ate delicious Belpuri and Papad bhaja together. When our chat got intense, I was feeling a little hungry.

After spending some time at Shaheed Minar, we all went to our familiar ‘Bangaliana Bhoj’ restaurant. There we ordered a special combo of white rice and 11-pada bharta. Our food was served in no time. As Bengalis, it is a special pleasure to be satisfied by eating different types of bharta! After finishing our meal, we paid the bill and left from there.

Our last destination for today was Ghat No. 5 of Shitalaksha River in Narayanganj. When we go to Narayanganj, we always sit on the banks of the river and chat. But today was no exception. At Kalam Bhai's tea shop on the banks of the river, we all got together and had tea in our hands and talked for a long time in the cool breeze on the banks of the river. After chatting, we headed home around 11 pm, and my mind was filled with a strange peace. After returning home, I had dinner with my family and fell asleep after using my mobile for a while. This is how my beautiful holiday ended.
