The Diary Game || 31 July 2026 || A Joyful Afternoon with Family, Children's Fun at the Fair, and a Wonderful Evening at Simaanta Tower.

Assalamu Alaikum! I hope you are all well and healthy by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well with my family. Life is about finding some beautiful moments in the daily routine. Today, Friday, July 31st, I am sharing with you on the diary page how I spent this weekend and what memories are special to me. I hope you like it. Let's see how the day went.

Morning start and delicious breakfast.

Friday, the weekend, always brings me special joy and peace. Since Friday is the weekly office closed compared to other days, I feel like sleeping in a little comfortably on this day. Anyway, since the office is closed today, I woke up early by 9 am and refreshed myself.

This morning, I had a delicious pound cake made by myself with a banana for breakfast. This pound cake made by myself was as soft as it was delicious.

Weekly market always with mom

After breakfast, I left home at around 9:30 am with my mom for the market. Since Friday is a weekend, we usually do the weekly markets together. Moreover, since guests were supposed to come to our house today, we also needed to do some shopping for them, both good and bad.

When I arrived at the market in our area, I first went to the fish market and bought several types of fresh fish according to the preferences of everyone in the house. After that, I went to the meat market and chose beef and chicken. Finally, I went to the vegetable market and bought several fresh vegetables from a van. After packing up all the shopping, we returned home respectfully before noon.

Experience working at my cousin's shop.

After delivering the markets home, I didn't stay at home and went straight to our market, where my cousin has a mobile servicing shop. Whenever I get time, I sometimes come to his shop and watch the mobile servicing work very carefully and try to learn.

Since it was a weekly holiday today, I spent quite some time at my cousin's shop. I myself helped a customer a little while opening an Android phone in the shop. I always really enjoy doing this kind of work and it gives me a different kind of interest.

Holy Friday Prayer and Lunch Break.

While working at my cousin's shop, the clock struck 12:20 PM. Since it was Holy Friday, I quickly returned home without delay. After taking a bath, I put on clean Punjabi and pajamas and went straight to the mosque to offer Friday prayers.

After finishing the prayer, as I was leaving the mosque, I saw a shopkeeper downstairs selling deliciously cold Matha and Ghol. In the heat of the day, I bought a glass of Ghol from there (for only 20 taka!) and ate it to my heart's content, then went straight home. After eating lunch, I went to bed to cool down and had a wonderful sleep.

Spending the afternoon on the railway line and enjoying the fair

I woke up at 5 pm, refreshed myself, and had a light breakfast. Then, I, my wife, our little one, my elder brother's wife, and her younger daughter started walking towards the railway line next to the local market. Every afternoon, people from the area come here to spend time in the open air, and today, being Friday, there were even more people.

We spent some wonderful time next to the railway line in the soft shade of nature and just before sunset in the late afternoon. In the meantime, the sight of the train blowing a whistle and leaving was very enjoyable. I captured these beautiful moments spent with the whole family on my mobile camera.

A month-long fair has been organized in a field right next to the railway line. After wandering around the railway line, we all entered the fair together. Upon entering the fair, I bought tickets for my elder brother's daughter and my son and took them on several rides. Seeing the joyous laughter and excitement of the two little children filled our hearts with joy. After wandering around the fair for a while, we all headed home with smiling faces just before dusk.

After finishing the hustle and bustle outside, I returned home in the evening. While I was sitting with my family and chatting, a very respected and close elder brother from my office called me. He asked me to go to our Jalkuri Simanta Tower in Narayanganj. I did not want to disobey my elder brother; so I quickly got ready, went to the market, met him, and took an autorickshaw straight to Simanta Tower.

The main purpose of going there was to buy a good quality perfume for my elder brother. Since this Simanta Tower in Jalkuri, Narayanganj was newly opened, various showrooms here offer various offers and discounts. A well-known watch shop named "Classic Watches" located on the ground floor came to our attention. This shop is quite popular due to Facebook and TikTok, where they sell various interesting things along with trendy watches. From there we chose a wonderful perfume called "DARING BLUE" and bought it at a 10% discount. After paying the bill, we left the shop.

Hot coffee and returning home at night.

After buying perfume, I went to the food court on the ground floor of the border tower. From there, I ordered two hot coffees for my elder brother and me. The coffee arrived in a short time, after paying the bill, we walked out of the border tower. We had a wonderful chat while standing in the slightly cold weather outside, sipping on a cup of hot coffee. After spending some time in various discussions and stories, we left for home around 10:30 to 11 pm.

After returning home, I washed my hands and face and freshened up. I had dinner with my family and talked for a while and went straight to my room. After organizing some urgent tasks on my mobile phone, I went to bed around 12 am and fell into a deep sleep. This is how my wonderful weekend spent surrounded by joy, busyness, and the love of my loved ones.
