Hello friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is well, by the grace of God. I am also well by the grace of God. Today I am here with a post to participate in a competition. The contest hosted by @kibreay001 in the fourth week of Steemit Challenge Season 31 is SLC31-W4 || Our Surroundings A Series of Real Life Experiences ; Railway Station & Bus Station. I am ready to participate in this competition with joy. Let's get started.

What type of service location did you visit? Briefly describe it.

For the sake of the competition, I chose a bus station. It is a temporary bus station with no permanent foundation. But from here, people can easily board a bus and reach their destination. Cars heading from Dhaka to North Bengal stop here and from there passengers depart for their destinations. It is known as Chandra Bus Station but it does not have a permanent and spacious place where they can stand for a long time. They stop for a moment while they are running, pick up enough passengers and then start their journey again.

Almost all buses heading to North Bengal stop at this bus stand. Especially buses going from Dhaka to Tangail, Dhaka to Mymensingh and Dhaka to Rajshahi pass through here. People can easily reach their destination from this bus stand for long journeys. Since this bus stand does not have a permanent foundation, passengers can purchase tickets at very cheap prices. Although there is no ticket counter to purchase tickets, tickets can be purchased at a cheap price from the contactor.

If I review the activities here and present them to you, I have observed the activities here quite well. Buses from various companies arrive at this bus stand and promise to take people as passengers to their destinations. People wait for these buses on the side of the road and negotiate a fixed fare with the bus operator to travel to their destination. Whenever I take the bus from here to reach my home, I get a seat at a very cheap price. The contractors and bus drivers of the buses that stop here are quite efficient and maintain friendly relations with the passengers.

Some of the buses that stop at this temporary bus terminal include Nirala Super, Fast Transport, Hanif Transport, Rafia Transport, Ajmiri Glory, etc. The mentioned buses transport passengers from one place to another at affordable prices. The express bus from Dhaka to Tangail has gained immense popularity. There are also buses named Hanif Paribahan and Uttar Banga Paribahan that travel up to Rajshahi. I have mentioned below a cheap price list for bus fares.

What do you like most about the Railway Station or Bus Station while traveling?

When I travel, I like to choose railway stations. However, due to space and convenience, I use buses most of the time. However, for me, train journey is definitely the best in terms of safe travel. Train journey plays a very effective role in dealing with accidents. On the other hand, bus journeys are somewhat less safe and have a slightly higher risk of accidents. Also, bus journeys sometimes involve long traffic jams, while train journeys are unlikely to have any traffic jams. The reasons mentioned certainly motivated me to choose the train journey.

However, I did not choose a specific place for my train journey. As I began my journey from Dhaka to Tangail, the train journey seemed a bit boring to me. However, when I board a fast bus from Dhaka to Tangail, I can easily and happily arrive. So for me, both bus journey and train journey are enjoyable, but in terms of safety, I prefer train journey. Bus journeys seem a bit more dangerous to me than train journeys, which is why I prefer train journeys when traveling.

Environmental impact & (With pictures + videos)

Since it is a temporary bus terminal, it does not have a permanent foundation. Therefore, various types of vehicles are parked at this bus terminal. With this, I would like to invite some sisters here. The environmental situation does not seem very natural because there is no orderly flow here. The owner and the contractor can pick up as many passengers as they want, there is no restriction. Therefore, even though you can reach your destination at a cheap price here, there is some security. Because buses and private cars, as well as freight trucks, operate here continuously. Even though it is a bus terminal, there is a possibility of accidents happening here.

Also, I found the atmosphere here a bit uncomfortable. There are no ticket counters or restrooms. Overall, I found the environment here a bit unusual. However, passengers can get seats here at very cheap prices when travelling. Considering the environmental conditions, if the journey can be started from here, then any passenger can reach his destination at a very low cost.
