I attended my friend's wedding during the weekend and it was simply amazing.This friend of mine had been my roommate during my undergraduate year (we stayed together for a year in 2019) before parting. Honestly we didn't have the best memories together and we didn't really fancy each other then but, years later we started having more like a business friendship. She's into wig making so sometimes she revamps my wigs and I am into clothing services so sometimes too I sew her outfits. And that's how we bonded again, over business.
Honestly, even though we didn't quite start of on the right foot, I see that over time she has just been one friend who has been a bit more real and supportive over time.She's one friend who has supported my business even when I wasn't so skilled in the job, she would still patronize me and refer me to her friends and family and I reciprocated with the same energy. I really think this is what good friendship should be about,being supportive. Tell me how you can call yourself a good friend if you can't patronize your friend's business or promote their craft? It's questionable.
Anyways,I've seen it over time that some friendships who don't start off strong more likely end up being one of the best friendships and I think that where this one is headed.These past years as we've bonded, I got to know her family closely and even ended up living as a tenant in one of her father's self contain apartment and her family have been very warm.
It was sometime towards the end of last year I got a call from her asking me to be her chief bride's maid.I was elated and surprised because I didn't think of all the people in her life she will choose me.Not that this was the first time I'll be part of an asoebi group but this will be the first time someone is entrusting me with that sort of duty on their big day.Afterwards, she also trusted me to sew her wedding garment, something very simple and befitting; which I'll share the professional photos here later.
The wedding took some time to plan and it was finally done during the weekend, the rain came out to play but atlas it ended in praise. Meanwhile, this was my second outfit, will you like to see the first?
