Hey everyone, how are you today? I hope you’re all doing well and staying motivated in your daily activities. Today, I’d like to take on a challenge from @mahadisalim about shopping malls and brand outlets. If you’d like to learn more about this challenge, check it out here.

A few days last month, I visited Banda Aceh with my seniors and friends. While there, we stopped by several large malls, including Matahari Mall, Suzuya, and Pasar Aceh. This time, I’ll just focus on Matahari Mall. The mall’s full name is Matahari Department Store Plaza Aceh. It’s located in the village of Beurawe, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh. To be honest, I’ve stopped by this mall several times. You can see that the building looks modern and is easily recognizable from the main road. In addition, there’s a fairly spacious parking area in front of the building, making it convenient for visitors arriving by motorcycle or car. For excellent security, the entrances and exits are guarded by friendly security guards, so visitors feel safe when entering the shopping area.

When you step inside the mall, the atmosphere is comfortable, with very bright lighting and an air conditioning system that works well—it stays cool even when it’s scorching hot outside. The floors are clean, and every corner of the stores is neatly organized. In keeping with modern standards, there are escalators that make it easy for visitors to move from one floor to another. This is certainly very helpful, especially for families with children or elderly members.

At Matahari Department Store Plaza Aceh, you’ll find a wide variety of products for everyday needs. There, you’ll discover clothing for men, women, and children, as well as accessories and more.
As usual, when I stop by, I’ll see many products from well-known brands whose quality is unquestionable. The products are organized by category, making it easier for visitors to find what they’re looking for. I think for anyone who loves fashion, this place is one of the best options for finding the latest collections.

From what I’ve observed, I can conclude that product prices at Matahari vary quite a bit. There are some very affordable products, but there are also premium products that are more expensive because they come from world-renowned brands.

What’s more, when I visited, there were several products on sale. My senior even told me that at the end of the year, there are many promotions offering up to 50% off, as well as other discounts.

As for the service at Matahari, I’m quite satisfied with it. Especially since there are female employees who are neatly dressed, easy to spot, and willing to help when customers need information about product locations or sizes. The cashiers also work quickly, so the lines aren’t too long.

I had a chance to buy a few accessories for my gadgets, such as a metal holder and an iPhone 16 Pro Max case.

One of the things that makes Matahari Plaza Aceh so appealing is its wide selection of products. In one place, visitors can meet a variety of needs without having to go to other stores. Not only that, but the mall is located in a very strategic area of Banda Aceh, making it easily accessible. The presence of various well-known tenants and brands is also a major draw for both locals and tourists.
