📣UNFORGETTABLE TRIP📣 WEEK / SETTIMANA #177/Church of the Divine Child Jesus (Bogotá)
This was one of the most visited churches during Holy Week. The church was built between 1935 and 1942, and is notable for its neo-Romanesque architecture and stunning stained glass windows.
Inside, it's a kind of sanctuary filled with sobriety, this is how it looked on Easter Sunday.
Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá. This is another of the most visited churches during Holy Week. Colombians commemorate the death and resurrection of Christ by visiting monuments, which are the names given to each of the images corresponding to the events that took place during Holy Week.
The inhabitants of Bogotá have a phrase that says: May GOD take us confessed, this refers to the time of death, which is why most of the people are very religious.
