📣UNFORGETTABLE TRIP📣 WEEK / SETTIMANA #180/El Retiro (Antioquia)

This municipality is located in eastern of Antioquia in fact, to get here you have to pass through Rionegro , la Ceja and Marinilla. Some say it gets its name precisely because of that, because you have to cross through other municipalities to get here.

Stopping along the way and observing the city from the highest point is something many of us enjoy , it's the advantage of being able to travel in our own car.

This place, like most of the municipalities in eastern Antioqueño, is cold , however, when the temperature rises, it gets so stifling that some people go to some of the local waterfalls to cool off. In cold places, the heat hits very hard; it's the expression we always use.

Some people who own farms have pack donkeys. It's said that in the past they would load them so much that the poor animals would collapse in the middle of the road, but nowadays people load them more carefully. In fact, it's said that if they mistreat them, they will be fined. Some of these animals look very well cared for, and I think that's fair.
