Meglio un Bitcoin noioso o al cardiopalma? / Boring Bitcoin or Heart-Stopping Bitcoin?[ITA/ENG]
Ciao a tutti amici e amiche di Italy e di Steemit.
Quando Bitcoin è in difficoltà si cercano sempre le cause tirando in ballo la qualunque, quella più gettonata è l'informatica quantistica.
Per fortuna ci sono gli analisti di Bernstein, una società di ricerca finanziaria e gestione patrimoniale statunitense molto seguita dagli investitori istituzionali, che dà una spiegazione molto più semplice: stanno entrando meno capitali rispetto al passato. (Rif.)
In una recente analisi ha evidenziato come nel 2026 i flussi verso Bitcoin provenienti da ETF e aziende siano nettamente inferiori rispetto a quelli registrati nel 2025, passando da 60 miliardi di dollari a 12 miliardi.
Quindi non sarebbe una crisi di fiducia verso Bitcoin, ma un rallentamento della domanda.
Secondo Bernstein, molti investitori retail avrebbero semplicemente spostato la propria attenzione verso i titoli legati all'intelligenza artificiale, il settore che in questo momento sta attirando gran parte dell'entusiasmo del mercato.
Negli anni passati Bitcoin era guidato quasi esclusivamente dagli investitori retail. Oggi invece una parte importante dell'offerta è nelle mani di ETF, aziende quotate, fondi istituzionali e gestori patrimoniali.
Questo non significa che il prezzo non possa scendere, ma indica che il mercato sta maturando.
È vero, rispetto alle altcoin speculative o alle azioni AI che fanno +50% in poche settimane, Bitcoin appare meno "eccitante".
Ma questo è il prezzo della maturità del mercato e forse dovremmo abituarci all'idea che i futuri cicli di Bitcoin potrebbero essere meno esplosivi ma anche meno fragili rispetto al passato.
In fondo, se Bitcoin vuole davvero diventare una riserva di valore globale, non può comportarsi per sempre come un asset puramente speculativo.

When Bitcoin struggles, people always look for explanations and tend to blame just about anything. One of the most popular theories lately is quantum computing.
Fortunately, analysts at Bernstein, a U.S.-based financial research and wealth management firm that is closely followed by institutional investors, offer a much simpler explanation: less capital is flowing into Bitcoin than in the past. (Ref.)
In a recent analysis, Bernstein highlighted that in 2026 the capital flows into Bitcoin from ETFs and corporations have been significantly lower than in 2025, falling from $60 billion to $12 billion.
So, according to their view, this is not a crisis of confidence in Bitcoin, but rather a slowdown in demand.
Bernstein also suggests that many retail investors have simply shifted their attention toward AI-related stocks, the sector that is currently attracting much of the market's enthusiasm.
In previous years, Bitcoin was driven almost entirely by retail investors. Today, however, a significant portion of the supply is held by ETFs, publicly traded companies, institutional funds, and wealth managers.
This does not mean that Bitcoin's price cannot decline, but it does indicate that the market is maturing.
It's true that compared to speculative altcoins or AI stocks that can gain 50% in just a few weeks, Bitcoin may seem less "exciting."
But this could simply be the price of market maturity, and perhaps we should get used to the idea that future Bitcoin cycles may be less explosive, but also less fragile than in the past.
After all, if Bitcoin truly wants to become a global store of value, it cannot behave forever like a purely speculative asset.
