Hereby my entry. This is Amsterdam July 2026... The Bulldog side of the city next to a canal. Always good for a drink or who knows a fight. At least the air isn't that thick of marijuana at this spot. It kind of makes me nauseous. There doesn't seem to be a no smoking area around here. Weird.

Wow. A town's square. Who would have thought of that? Out of the box thinking again, as usual 😁 But I also see a big square on the street where the manhole is that's 2 squares not counting the windows. Wow again!👍 Good luck to you.
You will positively love our city, Davao City. There's a permanent smoking ban on all public places, buildings, restaurants, schools, airports, airplanes and bars and nightclubs. What we have here are smoking areas, usually located in the parking lot under the sun without a roof to further discourage smokers.
There are also squares on the yellow shirt of the guy on the photo and at the bottom of a piece of a iron gate.
If it comes to smoking and no smoking areas, I never saw that many smokers and smelled that high amount of marijuana as in this city.
Smoking is already forbidden at public places but it feels no one cares in Amsterdam and the police everywhere present doesn't act.
What to think about the next shield? It is forbidden to smoke marijuana...
I like to go out side but unfortunately my home is very far from market so I go market when I feel so much need that now I can't work without going to the market.
So is my home I had to travel two hours by train to get there not to mention the time I needed to get at the train station and to walk from the train station to the market. 😞

I don't know if I'd be captivated by such a forced atmosphere, even though the city itself has a certain charm. It's certainly a perfect choice for this week. Welcome to the edition, and good luck! :)
If you ask me the city lost its charm a long time ago mainly due all the present foreigners even though it is part of its history. It is amazing how dirty it became. Like many say it is no longer Dutch and for sure not representative for the Netherlands.
