The obsessive opinions of others.

The obsessive opinions of others.

I don't know how universal my idea is, lol, but I think it's fair and relevant for many life situations. Therefore, I'd venture to suggest that most of the good things we thought about but didn't implement were simply steamrollered by other people's opinions, which destroyed our idea before they even laid the first brick.

For example, someone decided to try drawing as a child, but the art teacher, upon seeing your scribbles, said it was no good and that you'd be better off focusing on math or sports, while drawing was contraindicated for you.

If you agree with this, then somewhere deep down inside you're a dying, brave knight, ready to fight giants, and you don't want anyone to laugh at you.

Cervantes would never have written Don Quixote if there weren't people in the world who are indifferent to the opinions of others. They exist, and that's a good thing.

Qué lindo post. El arte y la literatura tienen eso de conectar sin necesidad de explicar todo.
