Evening walks in St. Petersburg always have their own special charm. This time I found myself at the General Staff Arch when dusk had already settled, and the city lit its lights. The warm glow of the streetlights flooded the square, creating a cozy, almost homely atmosphere. I noticed people strolling leisurely, some sitting on benches, enjoying the moment. These patterned circles on the pavement underfoot, it seems, lead somewhere deep into history. And there, on the wall, a clock, like a silent guardian of time, counts the minutes of this beautiful evening. I've always been amazed at how the architecture here manages to be both majestic and so intimate.
I love photography. I spend time in nature, walking around the city. And I often take pictures when I see something interesting.
I always edit my pictures (mostly using Lightroom) and love sharing them with the community.
And here you can see some of my works, that you can find in my blog
I especially love how the warm glow of the streetlights brings out the textures in the General Staff Arch, creating a beautiful contrast with the cool tones of the building. Your editing skills have really made this photo shine! 📸💕
