'Twas my loving parent's wedding anniversary lately so we celebrated eating Maki

My mother told me that she will be going with me for my late morning dialysis schedule because she will go to one of the nearest Mall in our area here to purchase some of those Maki rolls in a box. I told her that I will buy her the Maki rolls instead.
We were just using the Barrio council's utility vehicle which I am glad that they bought and it was a new one too because the old one is just unusable already as if a thousand Monkeys had tried to demolish that car. I am not sure if they will try to fix it but it is possible if some budget will be allocated for its restoration with its body, engine, and all.
So now our Barrio has its own Ambulance service and a "patrol car" as they call it and is used when an individual within our Barrio would request to use them. SO I thank God that at least our Barrio captain had the initiative to buy such utility vehicles because apparently they are very useful especially for me.
Anyway, while my arm is getting patched again after my dialysis session, I ordered via the food App the Maki roll so that I will not have to wait as much time for it after going back home from the dialysis clinic because it is quite already late in the afternoon for the reason that I was not immediately hooked-up to the dialysis machine because the power went-out in their area.
Later I learned that there was a widespread blackout or at least a rolling brownout because the grid was not able to supply the electricity needs of the main island. Thankfully our electric service was not affected during these brownouts because maybe we are getting directly power from the hydro-electric power plat here in our province. We seldom experience power interruptions and even if we do it would come right back up quickly.
Sometimes when I was younger I would hope for the power to go out for longer because it was the only time that we would talk to each other in the house our spend more time chatting with my friends outside the house plus it is quite silent during power interruptions during the night, however it is not good if the weather was hot and humid like today.
Anyway, my mother told me a few weeks ago that they (old folks) have to celebrate every special moment like birthdays and anniversaries because you know? They are already in the "Sunset" of their lives. So I had and will be making it a point that I will help my mother during those special moments in our lives to collect great memories no matter how simple it will just be.
