Crypto Social Media is in deep trouble
Steem's price is incredibly low, in fact just two days ago it breached its own All Time low. Currently it is hovering just above that number. To get a general overview I also checked out Hive's price and it is also just slightly above its new All Time low, which was also set two days ago. Now you can see that Hive's price is a little higher than Steem's. This has been so for several years hive has always seen a better price than Steem. What worries me isn't the very low price of both, what gets me is that both are following the exactly same pattern. And this pattern is not following the rest of crypto. In fact July has not been that bad for Bitcoin, yes it is at a low price, but this price has been slowly increasing in July.
Is there a scenario or let's just say a reason in which we can expect to see a comeback for these two tokens? I no longer include Blurt in my reasonings because I can't find it on any of the crypto exchanges. I think it is basically gone. But Steem and hive are different, there are people with very large stakes in these tokens, people who at this moment are losing a lot of money. they are the ones who worry me, I after all only own around 2,700 Steem, which is not much, plus I have never invested any money so my loss is just the time I put in, and I can assure you time is the one commodity I have a lot of.
Seeing this performanace my only thought is that these two platforms can hardly get back to where they where just one year ago. Writing short articles on them will no longer be a good way to increase earnings or save crypto. at the rate this is going I think my 2,700 Steem will be worth maybe ten dollars and eventually I will be left holding bags. But I have to tell you that is how I feel about Blurt, what I hold is a bag. And I have around 57,000 Blurt staked.
I know that most of the crypto pain is for some reason tied to all the problems the World is going through, wars, constantly changing oil prices, AI, even football. I think a lot of the problems are not as large as we see them but social media actually makes them seem greater than they are. I mean I have seen some viral posts on social media get hundreds of thousands of views, thousands of comments, and I know for certain the original information is false. This does not help anyone except the guys monetizing their content.
That could be a good idea go on alternative social media and advertise crypto platforms like Steem. Of course you need big influencers for that. Now that is a great job, being an influencer. just post crap and get a lot of followers and make a lot of money. They are not that honest, but honesty is an overhyped value these days. it is not what it was before. I am not saying we live in a valueless World and things were better before, it is just that things evolve and what we thought was not possible, is, what was taboo is now not. I think that is why Steem and Hive have lost value, people have moved on, Now they want to be influencers and the crypto social networks are just too small.
Now, I just put my thoughts here, as they came out, I do not know if this is any good but at least I did not use AI.

Thank god you did not use AI 🤭👌👌🏆☕ ... but it was good to read .
