This pond is called Shayar Pukur, and it is located in a place called Singimari in Parbatipur Upazila. To get here, you can come from the town using any type of transport.

How did you discover this place, and what is the first thing you do when you arrive?

---

I would like to talk about a place called Sayar Pukur. It is a very large pond, and its environment is truly beautiful and peaceful. Whenever I visit this place, I feel relaxed and calm. That is why I consider it one of my favorite peaceful places. The natural beauty of this pond always gives me comfort and refreshes my mind.

I first came to know about this place through my friends, and I visited it with them for the first time. After that visit, I really liked the place, so now I go there sometimes to spend my free time. When I arrive, I first enjoy the lovely surroundings. There are many trees around the pond, and there is also a big mango garden that makes the beauty of the place even more special. I especially enjoy sitting in the mango garden and taking a deep breath of peace.

What sounds or aromas define this refuge?

This place is very beautiful, and because of its peaceful environment, many birds live here. There are large mango gardens around the area, and many birds stay in those trees. The sound of the birds always amazes me. Their sweet songs are so wonderful that I cannot fully describe them in words. Listening to their chirping gives me a deep sense of peace and happiness.

There are also many green trees and plants here that make the air feel fresh and pleasant. The cool shade of the trees relaxes me and refreshes my mind. A gentle breeze comes from the pond and softly touches my heart. Sometimes, the fish in the pond come near the edge for a moment and then dive back into the water, which I really enjoy watching. I also feel amazed when I see the mangoes hanging on the trees. All of these beautiful things bring me great peace and joy.

What time of day do you prefer to visit it and why?

I like to visit this place most in the afternoon because the weather becomes very pleasant at that time. The environment looks more beautiful, and there is not much sunlight, so it feels comfortable to stay there. When the sun starts to set, the view becomes even more amazing. Watching the sunset near the pond is a special moment for me, and it always makes me feel calm and happy.

There are some sitting arrangements under the trees, where I can relax and enjoy the cool shade. There are also some cement animal and bird figures that make children happy when they visit. In the afternoon, the place feels very peaceful, and I can enjoy both sides of the beauty around me. Beside the pond, there is a playground where many people play games, and it is enjoyable to watch. From the side of the pond, I can enjoy the beauty of the water and also see the fun activities in the field. Every time I have visited this place, I went in the afternoon because that is when it feels the most wonderful.

If this place could speak, what secret would it tell about you?

If this place could talk, it would probably tell me to leave all my worries and sadness here and go back to live a peaceful and happy life. I often come here to find peace in my mind and to forget all my stress and pain. When I am here, it feels like all my troubles slowly disappear, and my heart becomes light. Because of this feeling, I think this place would ask me to release all my sorrow here and leave with a fresh and calm mind.

This pond and everything around it are so beautiful that it makes me forget everything else in life. I can take a deep breath of peace here. That is why I keep coming back whenever I get the chance. It is a very large pond with fish in it, and many birds come to catch fish. There are also many trees, and mangoes are hanging on the branches. All of these natural scenes together touch my heart deeply and make me feel very calm and peaceful.
