SLC31-W5: Shop & Share Challenge - Clothing or Fashion Store

I am here to take part in @josepha's contest and come to his questions straight away!

1️⃣ What is the name and location of the clothing or fashion store you visited

I visited Vishal Mega Mart in Modipuram, India expecting to buy a few small things from this busy local department store. This is one of the famous Indian chain's branch in my neighborhood with fashion section for men, women and kids that neve disappoints any of its visitors.

2️⃣ What item did you buy from the place? Let's know the price.

I shop at Vishal as often as possible because it offers good variety, affordable prices, and convenient everyday essentials. I prefer visiting there regularly for clothes, household items, and other useful products. It helps me save money while finding decent quality items in one place. I have collected a lot of points which I intend to redeem on my next visit.

✓ Buy at least one fashion item from the place

While on my way back I saw a deal on juice bottles so I bought three of them that were on a handsome deal.

To be frank, there was nothing in my mind to buy but since I had to buy something so I bought an undergarment for myself and paid on the cash counter in cash.

 

3️⃣ Was the price affordable and worth it? Explain briefly.

This store always offers affordable price for budget-conscious customers who find a few mid-range items here. As you can see display of featured formal kurtas for ladies in this section with better stitching and rich fabric, with modest price tags. The same items are available on much higher price tags in bigger branded shops.

4️⃣ How would you describe the quality and appearance of the product?

The first thing you will notice in this store is its variety and quality. as you can see this side, with a long row of kurtas and salwar suits for girls in cotton prints and perfect for everyday wear and affordable enough for any common lady's wardrobe.

The colors give them ample choices as you ca see options like turmeric yellow, maroon, and peacock, blue and light colors. on the next row of the aisle racks are full of western pieces, casuals, tees, shirts, and lightweight jackets which attract teenagers and young professionals.

5️⃣ How was the customer service and environment of the place?

They have all sizes which fit all body with clear labels and helpful staff nearby to assist. A trial room on both floors for ladies and gents.

Located the ground floor is the area for ladies with vast display of seasonal clothing and accessories. As you can hear a gentle mix of Hindi and English music sets a casual, friendly tone. Sale signs show discount so to make your chaotic easy.

You find accessories and footwear corner on both floors with shelves full of sandals, and budget sneakers. Racks of belts and scarves are also available on the sides. I liked how scarves and undergarments were displayed on hooks and baskets making easy to inspect.

A small counter showcased imitation jewelry statement earrings and chunky bangles, priced attractively for festive shopping with bonus points in your account.

Customer service is okay as staff members walk with you to help offering size suggestions and locating items from other parts of the store. As I said the trial rooms are okay and spacious even if one has to wait at times during rush hours.

What sets the men's section apart is it has a baggage section close by. The selection of clothes suits daily needs with durable fabrics, easy-to-wear designs, and right pricing. Maybe it’s not about fashion all the time but definitely about dependable style with regional taste.

I left with a small item to display in this post plus a couple of bottles of fresh juice available at cash counter.
