The Diary Game: Returning Home From Work After A Stressful Day (30/04/2026)

Hi everyone, welcome to another diary session with yours truly @ruthyvelly.

Today is one of those days one can call a very stressful and exhausting day. From the moment I woke up till the time I got back from work, I never rested.

I woke up in the morning having a very serious headache, I rushed to my sister's first aid box and took some paracetamol to calm my head down, then did my morning devotion, did my morning chores, prepared for work quickly and left.

At work, it wasn't really easy because there was a lot of work we did, and that was where the main stress came in to the extent our management gave us some tips during work. At some point, I had some rest because the headache started again, but this time it was multiplied more than twenty times, as if my head wanted to fell of my neck, which made my colleagues allow me go home before them so as to have enough rest, even though we closed very late.

On my way home, I encountered one of the things I hated the most, which was masquerades. According to the people there, they said that a woman shouldn't pass while the masquerades were still passing. So I had no choice than to hid in someone's shop till they passed by. Immediately I got home, I took another medicine, and luckily for me, my sister was already back from work and had quickly prepared dinner, because she has been working night shift for a week. She pleaded with me to wash her hair which I did, and of cos this is one of the things I derive joy in doing.

After the hair wash, I freshened up and had my dinner real quick, gisted and discussed some things with my sister before I had some rest.
