Turtles relaxing at Ho'okipa Beach Maui!
Today I made it down to the beach for some Bodyboarding action at Ho'okipa, however on the way down it started to rain! As the clouds blew in I realized photography might be out of the picture for the day, especially for the drone!
When I got to the ocean it was a little windy and overcast. The waves were choppy looking and I did not really feel like going in, but I decided to stomach the ugly beach weather anyway. I put on my wet suit and headed to "Pavillions" for a quick surf session. As I rounded the corner at the bottom of the stairs I noticed a crowd taking pictures.
As I turned my head to see what all the commotion was about, I noticed a whole bunch of turtles sitting around the beach right where I was about to get in the water. It was my lucky day after all, I was wearing my Go-Pro helmet cam and got a few shots of the turtles.

Today the waves were a little choppy, the weather was gloomy, and the water was really cold, however I did catch a few waves and had a lot of fun anyway! I am glad I went out and can't wait to get back in the water for some more surf, fun and photography!
