RE: How much Eye Contact is "just right," and Can too much Eye Contact cause us to Hallucinate?

Good to know 3 secs is the normal/average. The way articles emphasize the importance of eye contact sometimes, it makes you feel like you should eye-stalk them like a lunatic.

I've been doing a lot of reading on the subject, looks like I'll have a few more in this series as time allows.

It's an issue I've struggled with, dealing with depression, anxiety, insecurity..

The more I learn and research this stuff, the better I feel. Less anxious, more comfortable.. just knowing.

It's rather astonishing how many people here on steemit have dealt with 'mental health' issues. But I guess it's to be expected in a population that is made up mostly of writers and artists, or who generally spend above-average time online.

I think it's quite common to the human condition in general, nowadays.

How to be well adjusted in a world and thrive amidst what appears to be a systematic exploitation of everything and anything by "powers that be".

We are trained to be fucked up by the media, advertisers, governments, ect.....
