Hi friends!
My name is Johannes Rousseau. I'm 32 years old and I am a passionate award winning photographer from Uppsala, Sweden.
Here are some pictures of my city. Sweden is so beautiful!
I have a beautiful wife and an amazing son (2 years old). Through photography I express myself. I like to think of myself as an allround photographer. There is nothing I don't photograph. My favorite kind of photography is nature, landscape & macro. But I also photograph cities, weddings, portraits and much more. There is beauty in everything!
At the moment I use the Nikon D800 with 2 lenses the Nikon 24mm-70mm 2.8 and the 70mm-200mm 2.8.
I travel a lot to beautiful locations if I have the time and money. I can spend days photographing beautiful nature, details, cities and more. Here I was in tuscany, Italy. I have a post about tuscany on my blog.
I love life and I am overall a very happy person. Sailing is my biggest hobby after photography. I own a small sailing boat. The boat is a swedish Hallberg Rassy Misil2. About 8 meter long and 2,5 meters wide. You will definitely see some beautiful sailing pictures if you choose to follow me.
I found steemit through youtube 3 days ago. Since I am very interested in the blockchain and love photography, steemit ist perfect for me. I'm still getting frustrated sometimes because I don't know how everything works, but I guess I just have to give it some time. People here have been very kind to me and that keeps me motivated to keep on uploading. My plan is to upload daily until the end of the year. Let's see how that goes! :-)

You have published some awesome photographs so far. A bit of advice would be to spend some time adding more content to complement each photograph. Consider adding some technical info as well as a story behind each shot.

Thank you so much! I'm happy that you follow me. Your pictures are very nice too. I started photographing butterflies 8 years ago when I took my first photos. Wir können auch Deutsch sprechen! :-) Bin in Deutschland gross geworden. Vielleicht hast du ja noch ein paar Deutsche hier auf steemit den ich folgen kann. Ich bin noch ganz neu und muss mir einen Freundeskreis aufbauen. Danke nochmal! Ich freue mich auch auf mehr Bilder von dir! :-)
Benutze doch einfach mal den Tag > deutsch < , dann wird die deutsche Community schon auf dich aufmerksam werden. Der Anfang ist schon mühselig, denn deinen Beiträge werden von nur wenigen gesehen. Aber es lohnt sich dran zu bleiben. Jeder der hier qualitativ hochwertigen Content abliefert wird auf Dauer Beachtung finden. Die Plattform wächst schnell und immer mehr gute Fotografen entdecken Steemit für sich.

You have a talent for photography my friend! Fellow sailor here (I come from a long line of fishermen) so any photos and posts in regards to that would be great, I've heard sailing in the baltic is awesome! I'll check out your website when I return from exploring ( I am in Iceland rn)

As I mentioned previously people either simply put their steemit link up on another site (IG or Webpage) or they take a picture of themselves holding a peace of paper with their steemit username and the days date

Well as @intrepidphotos mentioned, it's usually important to "prove" you are the actual author of the photos instead of picking them off from a photographers site (etc.) and pretending to be you.
You can imagine, you could find someone pick a bunch of your photos from your website and then post them here, pretending to be you. But hopefully you are truly you :)
So cross-linking is usually one method to verify yourself, as mentioned. Not only pointing out Steemit -> Your web page, but also Your web page -> Steemit. That's usually one of the strongest proof, as it can prove you control the website and it's pointing out to your Steemit account.
