Hello world! I am Irkwan Mat. So what?

Greetings internet people! I am Irkwan Mat, a writer, thinker, and dreamer. I have been considering starting up a blog for some time and Steemit is the perfect social outlet for meaningful expression.

I will be writing to express myself but also hope to bring more people of color into the crypto space. I want to make sure that our communities aren't left behind in the upcoming boom of crypto currency. I will be writing articles about the black experience in the U.S. and the African diaspora in hopes of attracting people of color to the steemit community. I'll be talking about religion, magic, revisionist history, white washing, and even debunking fake news and fake black history from time to time (No the statue of liberty was not based on a black woman). I will be even posing questions that perplex me in hopes that other community members might have some valuable insight.
