Greetings SteemIT

Hello, my name is Koert Zeilstra. I develop software, love to make things (electronics, woodworking, music), sometimes do a bit of kitesurfing (or kiteboarding) at the coast of the Netherlands, or skiing in the Alps.

I usually work at the user interface side of web applications in Java and Angular, although I also work on SOAP/REST web services.

This bitcoin thing fascinates me and after discovering the many other crypto currencies, I heard about SteemIt. Although it seems improbable to me that we all can get rich with only blogging, I like the idea of content curation with a financial incentive.

Coffee

A tip for coffee drinkers: cold brew - for a less acidic, more chocolatey tasting coffee. I use 1 part ground coffee and 10 parts water (room temperature). Let it sit for at least 12 hours and dilute it before drinking, you could heat it up in a microwave if you prefer hot coffee. I always mix the cold brew with milk and heat it up - great latte!
