Since I have had my pictures stolen here and there during my existence on line I appreciate Steemit’s concerns on identity confirmation so here it is :

Yes, this is the best way other than a video showing yourself writing about the steemit account. I posted some of my Steemit articles to my Twitter account to easily link the two.

I hope the steemit blockchain evolves to prevent identity theft...
but one thing is sure, copycats will never be able to match up to your ingenuity
