R2D2 coloured! 🖌 R2D2 色塗りました！
Hi all!!!
I coloured R2D2 with Copic marker today. Yay! But please don't look at the details especially the bottom part of the drawing because I got bored LOL.
Well, I think I figured out how to blend colour but I ended up using coloured pencils as well as markers because I couldn't figure out a good way to add shading.

今日は先日下描きしたR2D2に色を塗りました。あ、でも下の方はあまりじっくり見ないでください。下描きもそうですが、色塗りも集中力が続かなくて雑になってます。コピックの色のブレンドの方法はなんとなく分かりましたが、影の入れ方がいまいちで色鉛筆も使いました。

First, ink with line marker and then erase the sketch.
まず、線入れをしまして...下描きをケシケシ...
Doesn't it look nicely blended?
色がきれいにブレンド出来たと思いません？
But then I got bored! So messy...LOL
少し飽きてきました。ざつっ(笑)
Add some blue...and shading...
青を入れて...影つけて...
Done!

Great work, I suggest if you get bored you can take a break and do it later. This way you can utilize 100 percent of your skill in your work.

Maybe you should invest in some white pens or colors to emphasize the bright spot to make your art even more awesome. Well done!
I used white pen to tidy up the mess LOL. I need to learn to colour shade and light for sure. Thanks for the advice! :)
Btw where did you get the Copic in Japan and whats the price? I'm going next month, hopefully I can get some too
I bought mine at stationary store. I got Copic sketch. It was 380 yen per maker....I think... I got set of 12 and 24. I paid about 13,000yen ;)

メカの質感難しいですね。コンテストでもなければ挑戦しないイラストでした。勉強になりました^^
