I didn't want to join Steemit. That is, I didn't know that I wanted to join Steemit, because I didn't even know it existed. I stumbled onto some information about EOS, and since EOS was created by Larimer, I naturally found Steemit to be a valuable source of information. I didn't even notice the money sign on the bottom until a few days later, when I saw sssj's articles earning $1000+ per post. So I jumped in, thinking that I, too, can be earning an absurd amount of money for my opinions, but I'm learning more and more that the money follows a well-curated, well-designed account. That's what I want to build with my account, and that's a bit of my experience with Steem.
