Where the Silence Feels Wide
I remember walking forward without a clear plan. The path felt long but calm. My thoughts slowed down with every step. I did not feel lost. I felt small in a good way. That feeling made my chest feel light.
As time passed, the world around me felt steady. Nothing asked me to hurry. I let my mind rest and just kept moving. I thought about choices I made and ones I did not take. Some answers came without effort. Others stayed quiet, and that was fine.
At the end of that moment, I felt full without having much. I carried no noise with me. I carried space and breath. That kind of calm stayed even after I left. It reminded me that slowing down can be enough.
