The photo was taken around 1928–1929 by Thomas Woolstone Dixon. The Location: The model was used for instruction at Harvard Medical School. It was originally commissioned by Dr. Thomas Dwight, a previous Parkman Professor of Anatomy, to enhance classroom demonstrations.
