Videoke A Pinoy Thing
Hello Steemians,
Today I will share with you one of our favorite thing to do here in the Philippines. If this photo doesn't give the obvious clue well, it is "videoke". From the words video and karaoke. That is how we call it here. Why? well as you sing along a video is playing with the lyrics on. Some videos are quite entertaining to watch like a nice view of a beach scene that is relaxing. Some videos are catering to specific audience though just don't mind and get singing.
Today, we gathered at our parents' house and had lunch together. After that the karaoke was non-stop until 6:00 PM. Some family friends came and sang too. Videoke singing is definitely a Filipino thing. We can find a lot of reasons and occasions to sing using the karaoke. No wonder people here are good at singing that is a fact 😅
This photo shows some of the food we brought for potluck. Some of us cooked a meal while others bought from a resto as take out.
