I always called it the shrink wrap, because I could feel it closing in and was always looking for ways to shake it off. Trauma past here too, but different.
It took me some years to really understand that there is no one to blame, to see the multi-generational trauma, and know that it had to be up to myself to heal and try not to pass it on.
It still seems like walking through a surreal amusement park, often.

I watched that show on DVDs once. Nyai had it, and said it was a good one.
