A packed club and one of the coolest VF3's I've seen yet

I've been hearing from people that are visiting that it is actually quite difficult to find a room in Da Nang right now. I'm a bit insulated from this phenomenon and never really know if it is busy here or not. I presumed it was because there are so many people at the beach but I didn't realize that it was busy to the point where you can't even find a room. A friend of mine is visiting and decided to go "old school" as far as getting a room is concerned and he just wandered around until he found something.

I do not recommend this tactic. He ended up needing to spend his first night in a dorm room with a bunch of young people and he is 55 years old.

I went with him to some club that I would normally never go to and while it wasn't so bad when we first arrived the place became really packed as the night went on.

This isn't really my sort of scene so I didn't last very long in here. I will say that at least the DJ's weren't trying to deafen all of us and the music volume was actually pretty ok. There was some good music and a lot of it was Vietnamese rap. I love that they do this because I don't like it when the DJ's try to play exclusively foreign music just because a lot of the crowd is likely to be foreign. I'd rather they just play what they like and something with some local flair.

Speaking of local flare, I saw one of the Vinfast VF3 cars on the side of the road the other day and this one has been customized in very unique way.

Here we go again with the roof racks as it seems to be quite popular to pretend as though this is some sort of off-road capable vehicle, which is most certainly is not.

I do like how whoever owns this went the extra step with the racing decals as well as some after-market bush lights for illuminating wild game in the off road environs lol

The after-market accessorizing of this vehicle likely took the ticket price from $10,000 all the way up to a staggering $12,000 or so, which is still a really low price to pay for a brand new car.

As I have said many times in the past the jury is still out on whether or not these cars are worth it or not. $10,000 is very cheap for a brand new car but if the battery cells dont make it at least 5 years that low price is no longer a good value. At the moment this company has free charging stations all over town and apparently all over the country. You are not allowed to use them for free if your Ecar is not made by Vinfast, which is the only major Vietnamese car manufacturer. The cars are available in parts of Europe, Western USA, and Indonesia although they are not at all popular there.

A friend of mine was joking about how there is an EVEN SMALLER Vinfast E-car called a VF2 out there and it can be bought for even less at just $7,000 brand new.

This thing is absurdly small and since my friend is more than 2 meters tall he cannot be serious when he says he is thinking about getting one. I'm yet to see one of these on the road.

While I wouldn't mind having one of the VF3's I think the VF2's are too small and silly looking and I would be a bit embarrassed to be seen riding in one of them.
